This is the official A Sea of Blue Open Game Thread for the Kentucky at Auburn game. Particulars are as follows:

Gameday Information
This game is exceptional because of the fact that UK will have a new starter at quarterback, be it Morgan Newton or Will Fidler. That is enough to get all of us excited to see what Brooks can do under the duress of having his starting quarterback down, something that has rarely happened under his tenure.
I'm sorry to say that I am running a bit behind, so I won't have a stats comparison this game. I will say that the late word is that Morgan Newton is the likely starter under center, but the guys who are going to do most of the damage are named Derrick Locke and Randall Cobb.
We need this game badly, in spite of our difficulties and Auburn's historical success against us. Be sure to visit War Eagle Reader and the SB Nation Auburn Blog, Track Em Tigers for what is going on with the opposition.

you know, I do not understand the refs the last couple years......lousy on both
sides of the ball……..is it because they have the replay to back them up now if they get it wrong???

potential I am seeing in Newton. When he settles in and gets in the groove with his receivers, he could be awesome.

Let me ask all of you something, how far is everyone apart???....I know we have some in Western KY
I am in Monticello…..Tn State line…..wondered if we might try to get everyone together for a game before the end of the year……I wouldnt mind hosting as long as no one minds half the house under construction……important parts work…..TV and chairs……and bathrooms

by committee. We are developing some weapons. Bye the way, I thought they said that Fidler couldn’t run the ball.
Another thing I noticed
was that Kentucky got stronger as the game wore on. That has not happened much in the past.
What a great win!

Great game...
Paul Warford was huge. Time and time again he made open field tackles on quick backs and receivers and stopped gains that we have been giving up this year. So good to see him back.
