PrintThis is the official A Sea of Blue Open Thread for Big Blue Madness, 2009. I will be opening this thread at 6:30 PM EDT so everyone can get their Wildcat on, and get in the spirit for what promises to be one of the most exciting basketball seasons in many years, perhaps even decades.
So get ready to join the conversation and party like it's 2009. More after the jump.

so, I’m just now getting the chance to see some of ESPNU’s Madness (I have a sick little girl, so I’ve been a bit busy) and their "heading to Chapel Hill", says Andy Katz. Yay. Lucky me.
Hope Madness was fabulous and y’all saw a great show of over-the-top ridiculousness and out-of-this-world showmanship. I’m pouring myself a cocktail and with any luck I’ll still get to see a few minutes of our boys-in-blue. Cheers, people!! : )

As a father of little ones yourself, I’m sure you know how hard it is to have sick little kids because you really can’t do anything for them, as ages 0-4 are really too small for any kind of medicine. It certainly makes you feel helpless, and I hate feeling helpless.
Oh, and the above “their” in my post should obviously be “they are”. I guess it had already been a pretty long night for me by the time I typed that. I really do know the difference, I swear. : )
I know there wasn't supposed to be much defense
but there were still a whole lot of points scored in a very small amount of time. Expect a lot of FAST paced games!!!!

Ramon was always pretty big
I did see him make one good dribble drive in the first part of the scrimmage.
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."
