Are you kidding me?

I just saw the new top 25 polls, and all I can say is "Are you kidding me?"  How is UK not even ranked in the USA/ESPN poll??  I mean I know UK isnt even close to being as good as St. Marys(18) WTF????  Im kind of getting used to this kind of treatment from ESPN, but this was a slap in the face.  Maybe Im over reacting because Ive waited so long to see us in the top 25, but I dont think so.  Its just ridiculous.

Georgetown and Notre Dame at 12-6 should not be ranked.

…. and why is Villanova ranked? They have lost 3 of their last 6 games. Villanova’s best wins to date are Temple and Rhode Island. I know they play in the Big East, but that shouldn’t automatically guarantee them a spot in the Top 25.

Big East bias?

I’m thinking, “Yep!”

Well.... Notre Dame falls to 12-7

They lost tonight at home to Marquette. More proof that they should not be ranked.

It doesn't surprise me

It’s not really ESPN… it’s a bunch of coach’s that don’t get a chance to see all the games. The SEC has got to win some games against other conferences for us to get more respect. There were two good chances over the weekend and UT lost to Memphis and LSU lost to Xavier. It’s only a matter of time before the BigEast beats up on each other and some drop out of the polls. NotreDame is on the way out. They are a good team, but you’ve got to beat some teams to stay ranked. I have no idea why Florida got more votes than UK, that’s what bugs me more than a one loss StMary’s team being up there. St Mary’s plays Gonzaga this week, so the loser will most likely be out.

Losses don`t

seem to matter if you play in the Big East

So very, very true

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."
