Was anyone watching ESPN2 at 9:47 pm on Thurs?
Halftime of the St. Mary's-San Diego game. They do the highlights of West Virginia's win at Georgetown and the host turns it over to Stephen Bardo for analysis. Bardo's statement: "Well, they basically itch-slapped Georgetown on their home floor."
That was not a typo - it definitely sounded like he said "itch-slapped." Is this a term I am unaware of, or did ESPN censor out the "b"? I've played it back numerous times, and I still can't tell. If they had to censor him, ESPN will likely not be pleased.
Anybody else see it and hear what he actually said?

oh, funny that you say that...
My husband and I had that on too—he was watching the game and I was reading. He goes “wait, I think he just said "*itch-slap”! I hadn’t been paying attention and was like, “uh-huh, yeah right, sweetie.” I’ll have to tell him what you said because he’ll be thrilled to have possibly been right this ONE TIME, and one time only : )
So, yeah, you weren’t the only one who thought you heard that!!

Yeah, I really don't think you're allowed to say that on TV
Glad to give your husband one point in the “who’s right?” game. I am currently being shut out by my wife something like 187-0, and I expect that to continue the rest of my natural life. . .
C! A! T! S! CATS! CATS! CATS!
now that I think about it, maybe I just won't mention it
I’m not crazy about the idea of losing my shut-out : )

Surely Bardo knows he shouldn't say "itch-slapped" with a B.
I’m not sure if BB broadcats are delayed, but I don’t think they are.
WVU beating G-town in DC will certainly help UK’s cause come Selection Sunday.
curious
just something i’ve been wondering about, does anyone know the reason the cats bench at home is on the right and has been for as long as i remember when all the other teams at home are seated on the left?
