To all blogs linking posts on A Sea of Blue:
Kentucky and other outside blogs are welcome to link their own posts on A Sea of Blue, subject to the following procedures and restrictions:
- No advertising of posts in the comment section. Doing so will be considered spam and the offending post removed.
- All bloggers wishing to link their posts in A Sea of Blue should do so in the FanShots, not here in the FanPosts or in the comments section of any article or FanPost. The Fanshots are located on the right sidebar just below the FanPosts.
FanPosts are for A Sea of Blue members who do not have their own blog, and need a place to post their thoughts and have others comment on them. It is unfair to these members to allow persons who have an on-line forum be able to "double dip." The FanShots are for linking articles, quotes, pictures and videos of interest to A Sea of Blue members. - We welcome all bloggers who have articles of interest to Kentucky fans to submit them at A Sea of Blue. You may link them in the FanShots or send me an email and I will review it for inclusion in an article.
A Sea of Blue is an inclusive community and we are not trying to hoard our membership, as if that were actually possible. We welcome and encourage other sports blogs to participate in our community subject to our rules and traditions. All we ask in return is that you apply the blogging version of the Golden Rule -- Ask yourself "Would what I am about to do annoy me if I owned this blog?" before you do it. If the answer is, "yes," don't do it.
Any blogger having questions, requiring clarification, guidance or assistance may contact me at the email link located at the bottom of the page. Thank you all in advance for your cooperation and participation at A Sea of Blue!

It seems like we have been having a lot more of these spam type posts recently. It’s really strange.
DEEETROIT BASKETBALLL!!!
Tru,
My vote is DELETE them all, because it is only going to get worse if you allow ANY of them to spam. You provide all of the links to articles and blogs that we need here. I will never visit a site that an outsider is trying to force down my throat. Even when they use some UK referenced username. Thank you for all of the hard work and time you give to us here at ASoB.
I am all about helping my fellow-bloggers.
But not at the expense of annoying my members.

You are so right on about that as far as Tru providing plenty of links. We at ASOB have no need to go anywhere because when Tru has the links we stay right here and the links open in another window and I very rarely get disconnected to my ASOB.
Thank you Tru
Hopefully the ones you are addressing will read this and comment in the Fanshots section. If not, then just delete them.
I know you tried to tell them before when all these straitpinkie and catsfanyo started showing up, but they just don’t listen :-)
Hmmm…evidently never in the miltary!
Well ...
… I have put forth my policy, and I will make sure that it gets adhered to. I want my members who don’t have their own blogs to have full, unfettered access to FanShots so they can speak their mind without having to worry about a link post moving them off the page.
I want to help out any Kentucky related blog any way I can, but not at the expense of my readers.

We've been having ...
… some issues today with the fanpost software. They still aren’t totally normal.
