ESPN - Dominant start for Kentucky on defense - SEC
An excellent post by Chris Low of ESPN on Kentucky's defense. I agree with him in virtually all respects -- it's too early to celebrate UK as a dominant defense in the SEC, but it is not too early to say that they are probably SEC-quality.
Oh, and I kind of loved the "and, yes, it was only Louisville" comment. The gnashing of teeth here in the River City just got loud enough to hear from my porch.

Well it was only Louisville...
Louisville is bad… very very bad. If they win 4 games this year I will be stunned.
BUT… UK did what you are supposed to do to bad teams, they spanked them.

U of L fans-- I almost feel sorry for the poor saps ...
… they were sold a bill of goods, and it’s gone rotten on ’em.
I think Low nailed it.
It’s good to see the ESPN SEC blogger paying attention to all of the SEC, and not just the ‘elite’. I thought it was hilarious that he mentioned the UK vs. ‘Bama game as now being “intriguing”; in my view, unless UK gets more efficient on offense, ’Bama will blow UK’s doors off.

UK vs Bama
I agree with you 110% Ken. Before the season started, I pointed at the Bama game as one that the Cats could “steal” to get their three conference wins… but after watching the Clemson game, I don’t believe that at all.
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."
