Woodyard making an impression
I haven't stopped by in a while, but I wanted to let you know that Woodyard had a terrific preseason game with the Broncos tonight. He was the clear star of the non-starters, making a lot of great tackles and being seemingly omnipresent throughout the second half.
He now has a great chance to make the team, and may yet see considerable playing time. The Broncos are thin at linebacker, so his odds are quite good.
Other than that, I'll catch up with you all as the UT-UK game draws near. :)

Terrific.
According to all reports, he was the heart and soul of our defense last year. He will be sorely missed but I wish him continued success in the NFL.
BTW, I saw where Jacob Tamme (the Pride of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Danville, KY) had two TD receptions tonight.
Good luck to both ex- cats.

Thanks for the update, Hooper ....
... Woodyard was certainly terrific here at Kentucky, and I’m tickled to hear that he is doing so well for Denver.

No problemo.
I grew up out West and followed the Broncos as a matter of birthright. When I saw how well Woodyard did, I knew you’d be interested.
