Goodman's opinion
I think he’s wrong about Galloway getting “first crack” at the lead guard spot. I feel that Liggins will be the lead from start to finish.
He’s probably basing his thoughts on the fact that Galloway has experience at a so-called higher level, but one thing not to be forgotten is that Liggins is like 29 years old, and probably played competition very similar to Galloway while at Findlay Prep and in Chicago.

Oh please Ken....
Liggins is not 29.
I realize he has a learning disability, but please, I believe he has worked the best to his ability to qualify as eligible this season to play for UK.
Perhaps he never had the tutoring he absolutely needed and UK gave him that. I salute the guy for trying to his best and I wish him the best.

Excuse me?
While I will admit that I’m sure I haven’t read everything out there on Liggins, I have never heard it mentioned that he had an actual learning disability. Do you have a link to support your statement? I apologize if this is something everyone but me seems to know, but IMO, that is a horrible thing to write if it is not true.
And of course, you know that Ken was joking about Liggins being "like 29", right?

Correct.
I was just kidding. I believe he is 21 or will be very soon.
I have not heard anything about him having an LD, and if I had I certainly would not have made light of his age.

I am not sure what I read...
perhaps dyslexic or just a slow learner… not a major thing with the right tutors.
Sorry I upset you BigSkyCat.

Goodman
While I normally disagree with JG and think he tries to be over the top to find his niche, I agree with most of what he says in this blog. Depth will be one of the big keys to this season (health being one of the others). I believe there is definitely talent throughout the roster, however some of them are young while others just aren’t consistent. Harris is a good defender and ball handler but he doesn’t look for his shot enough and when he does he is an inconsistent shooter. AJ looks like he has the body, athleticism and desire to be good but not enough experience and I think he may be year away. Harrleson I have no idea about. Porter is ok in spells but he is moreof a maintainer and not a difference maker. For me the bottom line is that these players have the tools but need to step up and be more consistent in order for UK to have a great season. Go Blue!!

Liggins Is 2 Years Older Than Darius Miller
He will be a very mature freshman and a possible team leader at PG spot.
Galloway will see back-up PT at PG and Wing.
