Euton and Jackson eligible
This problem is still not resolved in the sense that the KHSAA is still punishing athletes rather than the actual rule breakers. The Euton part of the story is over, but concern over the KHSAA's activities remains.

I'm glad these two young men are eligible ...
… but I certainly understand the hesitation on DeVries’ part. There is yet another transfer into Scott Co., who played on the same AAU team as Euton and Jackson, awaiting a ruling on his eligibility.
Three transfers in the same year, who are all exceptional basketball players? In my view, a raised eyebrow is not an outlandish response.
But, the by-law which states that all transfers are ineligible until ruled eligible is misguided, and needs to be reworded to say just the opposite.

Yes great news...
And a great find Ken as I was anxiously awaiting this. Thanks.

Well, Tru posted this and I'm sure he appreciates your 'thanks'.
I was worried that they would delay a ruling until late in the year, which they have done in the past.
I think public outrage played a part in the 16-0 vote, along with the merits of the case. In the end the boys get to play, and that’s what matters in this particular case.

The boys get to play...
Exactly right! Everything was done right by KHSAA rules.
I hope to see the Legislature absolve them. They have hurt so many of our Kentucky athletic/students over the past for such abysmal reasons, even in my county and many others.
