Walker likes what he sees of Cats
This is an encouraging article by Jerry Tipton. I have a feeling about this basketball team, a very good feeling.

I Agree With Sky
27 or 28 W on Selection Sunday, if all stay healthy and are eligible.
UK averaged 27 W from 1990 through 2005, then only 21 W the past 3 years.
Slump is over.

Pickup games
The most relevant, and important line in Tipton’s article: “By their nature, summer pickup games make it difficult to judge … " He went on to write "point guards”, but he should have written “any player.” Keep that in mind when reading evaluations, by anyone, on summer games.
I know you're right, Ken,
that you should have a healthy skepticism about summer pickup game results. Certainly I’ve had visions of All-American careers dancing in my head after hearing stories from year’s past. At the same time, though, it’s hard not to get a little thrill from this: "When they walk out, you’ll say, "Wow!’ They’re long and lanky at every position."
Since they cannot actually get less long or lanky by the start of the season, I’m going to go ahead and feel validated in getting excited about this : )

Long and lanky...
At the first game I’m sure we’ll all be thinking… “Wow. He was 6’8” this summer… but now he’s 5’10". Damn pick up game rumors."
LOL
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."
Summer pick up
By all summer pick up basketball accounts Josh Carrier was an all american.
DEEETROIT BASKETBALLL!!!
Carrier
Heckuva shooter in practice. Except for Senior Day, rarely the same guy in games.
