They are incredibly unreliable; both because they don’t seem to be updated on a regular basis and also because recruiting changes so quickly that accurately keeping track of something like that is impossible. It’s further complicated by the fact that sometimes kids either lie or are mistaken about who has offered them (see: Verdell Jones).

Word is that Terrence Boyd is a very long-shot to make the necessary grades. Furthermore, multiple people are reporting that he told them as recently as two days ago that Kansas State is his leader. Go figure.
