STLtoday - Rams Notes: Burton puts on a show
Keenan Burton as seriously opened some eyes on the Rams' sideline. Very impressive start for one of the guys that got the 'Cats back from futility.

I understand the surprise of Rams people,
But seriously, does this even remotely surprise UK fans? I know most UK people are basketball, basketball, recruiting, and football comes in somewhere around #20 (if that high). But for us fans who have been going to the football games faithfully for years (or decades in some cases) this was simply expected. Keenan has been sizzling since he stepped on campus. And even back at my high school, everyone knew he would someday be opening eyes in the NFL.
That aside, serious praise should be showered on him and the others from last year’s senior class for the yeoman’s work they did bring back this program. Nice work, K.

Not even a little ...
... Burton was effectively robbed of his senior year by injury, but he was absolutely the best at his position his junior year in the entire SEC in my opinion.
I could not be more pleased, but I am not surprised at all.

Burton
The lasting image I have of Burton is his freshman year. He made a one-handed grab, while parallel to the ground and stretched out as far as he could reach … for a TD. It was a thing of beauty.
That’s when I knew we had something special.
Throughout his career he made a habit of catching the uncatchable ball. I expect that will continue in the NFL.
