If you're looking for something to get you through your monday..

Go read the comments on this story at KSR and KYInk. HILARIOUS stuff. Marc’s guys are going after Matt’s and vice versa. Very entertaining!!

Still not a crook!

I thought I caught a reference ...

... to MM on Matt’s sight earlier today.

He didn’t mention MM by name, but I thought he was probably writing about him.

I’ll side with Matt and KSR everyday, and twice on Sunday, in this great debate.

I'm Not A Maggard Fan For 40 Seconds

Reese (Florida JuCo) is the kind of “late bloomer” who may very well develop into a good player as junior or senior at UK.

I think ...

... you may be right. He was first team all state in Florida 1A ball his senior year, and third team his junior year. He averaged 16 points/4 rebs last year for his Juco team, and they had a pretty good record. He was the only double-figure scorer on the team.

It’s weird that we’re recruiting another Iowa State target. How the heck does this stuff happen?

For Maggard and all the rest, I love all my Kentucky brethren, even the egotistical maniacs among them. Can’t we all just get along? :-)

Iowa State

Greg McDermott is a good young coach. He’s well noted as a recruiter. But teams like Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin dominate his neighborhood (for local players) so he has to broaden his territory.

McDermott

He turned the programs around at Wayne St. and Northern Iowa. I say he gets at least two to three more years to work the same magic in Ames.

A kid like Reese, with his family connections at Iowa St., McDermott HAS to get him. So I’m sure he’ll reach into his bag of magic tricks, and pull out a Reese. Of course it doesn’t help his cause when UK and other big time programs show interest.
