Elite Camp news from Matt Jones
MM has lots of info there on the players. I suppose he is drumming up business for his new pay site.

Matt ...
... doesn’t have a premium site as far as I know. And he said he wasn’t doing anything like that just a few days ago, at least not with KSR.
Maggard, on the other hand, has just launched a premium site, and apparently Matt was sourcing that as news. Generally, pay sites don’t want you putting their premium information on free sites like Matt’s or mine, for obvious reasons. It can be a violation of copyright, but more often it is simply a “terms of service” violation.
What he is saying there is essentially the truism that facts can’t be copyrighted, and that is so. The actual wording of a report is the property of the owner, but the facts themselves are not.
My general principle is not to report news as fact until I get it from a non-pay site. Others do it differently, but I read the TOS at TCP to say that. Not sure about Maggard’s site, as I have never been to his new one.
I hope they do a better job with their platform on the new site. The message board platform they used for Kentucky Ink was buggy as hell.

Maggard's new pay site...
not Jones. I think you misunderstood. I don’t belong to any pay sites, and never will unless ASoB goes in that direction :)

No ...
... we won’t be going premium. As far as I know, advertising will be the only way any SB Nation blogs make money.
I could imagine quite a revolt among SBN blog owners over premium access. Most of us want our content to be available to everyone.
