Thanks...
to you and Ken both.
I will do my best to keep it updated here. These two guys are amazing ambassadors for UK, and just like FortyYear said, they are “Doing good things, on AND off the court in Africa.” I love these guys!

Thanks kykat!
What a great diary. You should keep track of the updates and post them as you get ‘em.
It’s great to read about athletes contributing their time and efforts in the aid of others. Athletes in Action is a terrific organization. I’m glad Ramon and Jared are representing UK in such a classy fashion.

That's so great!
Thanks for sharing, kykat. Beyond the general heartwarming-ness, gotta love Harris’ shout-out to UK fans too. I really like Ramon—it always seems like he really appreciates and embraces the fervor and magnitude of UK basketball.

Good will aside
I think it is VERY good that they are getting more PT all summer. I know zip-O about the level of play in this tour but just knowing JC is getting to play in structured game situations has to be great for his head and really getting past the injury stigma.
I love Ramon. I am so happy he is doing the same.
As for the good will part – I could not be prouder of UK kids doing things other than drugs and getting arrested. That does not point to any actual people or incidents it is just saying we tend to only hear about the bad apples in all sports and from all teams.
Changing how you think will change what you think.

Right on Wilson...
seems we hear more bad than the good regarding anything, not just sports, that is happening in our world today.
