Thanks

Thanks for the update, Tru. He may have played for the Vols, but Lofton’s still a Kentucky kid and a class act. I hope he catches on somewhere. Between the two teams, I think he’s got a better shot in Denver, who seems to be looking for a point guard, than Charlotte, who it seems to me have about 784 point guards on their roster.

I don't know ...

... if Lofton is quick enough to play the point in the NBA.

Maybe

But point is his only chance. No way he can be an effective two-guard at his size.

I don't know where he'll play on the floor ...

... or for which team he’ll “try out” for, but if anybody deserves serious consideration for a roster spot, it’s Lofton.

Lofton...Charlotte or Denver???

As long as Chris gets to play…either is fine with me!! He is still a Kentucky guy and is truly a class act BUT when he came to Tennessee to play, after being rejected by Kentucky, he ALSO became a Tennessee guy…one much beloved and well respected!! I am glad that Kentuckians are proud of him, as are we. We took to him from the very first time we saw him play, and knew that Kentucky had passed on a gem…one who benefited the Tennessee program in too many ways to mention. His courage, honor, and dignity have been on display for the world to see, after learning of his battle with cancer. What a young man…one whom his home state, Kentucky, and his adopted state, Tennessee, can look to with pride!! Thanks Chris…the team that gets you will be a very fortunate team!!
