Chad Ford thinks Patterson is a second-rounder next year.

Heh. I hope Patrick believes him. :-)

Earl Clark > Patrick Patterson?

Maybe Chad Ford doesn’t watch a lot of NCAA basketball but I find this hard to believe. Echoing your sentiments, I do hope that Patterson stays for his junior year, hopefully to be paired with Daniel Orton down low.

Two months (!). Two weeks. Two pencils.

Yeah ...

... but I can understand that, a little.

Patterson in the NBA would be an undersized power forward at 6’8”, where Clark at 6’9” and good range would be a solid 3/4 swing player.

The difference between the NBA and the college game is greater than people think. Patterson needs to get his range out to to the college 3-point line. He is a little small just to play the power forward position.
