Stupid Tennessee Fan (another one)
this was posted on KSR a little while ago...just one of the most insane things i have ever read. clearly this guy doesn't base any of his "writing" in logic or common sense.

Where's FortyYear?
This is the kind of dude FortyYear could use statistics to monkey stomp and mail his brains back to his momma!
Monkey stomp and...
mail etc…...I suppose I am too antiquated to have ever heard that expression until now. That is hilarious!
One of my favorite ...
... movies of all time—Major Payne.

Come on Fortyyear...
This is where that idiot writer needs some serious education about the University of Kentucky and the Basketball program.
Post all your stats over there and show him how “wrong” he is.
No.
That Joel is not a Memphis fan. :-)
Note the pyramid next to his name.

Ummm Guys
A Memphis fan is the one who wrote the article not a Tennessee fan.
you're right
i just went back to see, and though it took me a minute, i see he has that pyramid as his pic. i guess the orange through me off.
oh, well, still a dumb article.

My experience ...
... is that Memphis fans (and frankly, many Tennessee fans) know less about college basketball than I do about Jai-alai.
So when you see someone from Tennessee other than Rocky Top Talk opine about college basketball, do what I do - laugh and load up A Sea of Blue. :)

Please, humor us
Prove it, Tru. I’d love to see a post about how much you know about jai-alai! That’s good stuff. :)
I haven’t thought much about jai alai since I learned about it in high school Spanish class (and occasionally as an answer to a crossword clue.) I did hear the ball gets hummed so fast that players have actually been killed by getting hit by it.
Hey Tru and all here...
I did go back and read about the writers over there. The one that started the site indeed is a Vols fan, but come to find out…the author Joel is a Memphis fan of sorts because that is where he was born and grew up. But he is also a Vols fan as he went to Tenn. State in Nashville. Oh well, just a little bit of info about Joel.
I read "Joels" bio ...
... he states at kykat51 wrote that he was born in Memphis, but he is a Tennesse fan “by birth”. Couple that with the Pyramid avatar, and I don’t know what to think.
I’m not so sure his piece isn’t satirical. It it isn’t, he needs a quick visit to a neurologist to nip his unfortunate ailment in the bud.
He claims the excuse of satire ...
... but satire requires actual skills, irony and so forth, which seem to be absent in his piece. It so resembles the typical hit piece a Tennessee fan might produce that it was indistinguishable from something you might see at BruceBall.
He did much better on his follow-up, chiding Kentucky fans for not understanding his wit.
Of course, as Bill Engvall would say, “There’s your sign.”
