I have just been perusing to the other SB Nation sites, and they have not implemented all the great things that you have on this site. Kudos Tru!

I have to admit I never heard that much from him as I as a parent, in the 70’s did not allow HBO . I never had Internet access until 2001, so from what I have read I missed a lot, and he sounds like he was someone I would have absolutely loved for his honesty.

I feel that I lost a lot by never hearing his shows.

IMO the Heels are going to have a tough time winning it all this year.

Players who come back after testing the draft waters can often have negative impacts. They’ve been listening to scouts for three months about how to improve their position and that isn’t always in the University’s best interests. Glenn Davis is a prime example, LSU struggled after he returned to school. Imagine that impact multiplied by three.

Not to mention all of the pressure and ‘ol Roy’s tendency to choke at the worst possible time…

Davis struggled after returning becuase he was the lone good player on his team left.

I think that Roy Williams is going to have them playing just a bit better than that. Think how much better a coach ol Roy is compared to Jon Brady.

If I had any contact with our recruits, I would tell them to refuse to talk to Tipton.

Our young recruits don’t need his bad ass attitude and I have had my fill of that guy.

I think that is a joke, but perhaps Pitino is as least trying to give that kid a chance at some success. He should have left Louisville and tried elsewhere with his supposedly talent. I don’t see him fulfilling all the requisites that Pitino has required of him. But perhaps this is one way that Pitino has set up the NBA career for Caracter. The kid definitely needs some tough love and to mature.

Baketball is out of my league but season foortball tickets are around 400.00 a seat.

They are endzone seats.

I would not prescribe for the younger generation, as I think they are too young for the consequences of such. But I don’t really think it has a harmful effect on the 21+ generation…just be safe!

That Greg Norman, yes the “Shark”, would be the leader after the 3rd round of the British Open.
He has set a new record as the oldest person to be leading a Majors after the 3rd day.
Should be very exciting tomorrow to see if he can hold his game together and win this!

There is no reason why the USA should not get the Gold this year…Geez I hope the coaches and staff picked the right guys for the job to get it done. Has been embarrassing in the past. Go USA!
