Thread at the Herald Leader about the KHSAA
Thanks to kykat51 for pointing us to this link by an author called Trekker, who has some very interesting and enlightening points to share about the Euton/KHSAA situation.
I recommend you read the entire thread, especially the last Trekker post as well as the first.

Trekker's thougts
I think Trekker makes some good common sense points, but I have a problem with a few of his assertions:
3—I find it highly unlikely that a home in Scott Co. cost half as much as the same or similar home in Fayette Co. Scott is an outlying county that has experienced huge growth over the last several years. Homes in counties such as Scott are pricey just as they are in Oldham, Bullitt, Shelby, Woodford, Jessamine etc. 4—The Euton’s moved from Ashland. Ashland is a modern city, much more closely related to Lexington than Georgetown. 7— Trekker should know that Chad Jackson was never ruled eligible to play at Scott. An internal clerical error resulted in an inaccurate letter being sent to Scott Co.. 9. —The Fleming County to Clark County transfers Trekker writes of: As he correctly points out in his #10, if there is not a complaint, then there is no investigation. Ergo, if no one issued a complaint about the move, then the KHSAA would have no basis to investigate.Plus, I DON’T THINK it matters who issues a complaint about a possible violation.
Addendum
One thing that folks should remember: The member schools are the ones who voted on, and in many cases wrote the statutes and bylaws of the KHSAA. The KHSAA only enforces those rules.
Anyone want to come and move my home?
I live in Campbellsville…but I know the prices of homes in Louisville and Lexington area are most likely twice the market value of my home here with almost 5000 sq. ft. Of course no one could move a basement….lol. And a brick home home is very hard to move…
But anyway, if anyone out there wants to move to C-ville and wants plenty of space…I got it! Lol
C-ville has an excellent boys coach in Tim Davis, but I'm sure you already know that.
Why did I think you lived in Colorado?
I have no idea...
why you thought I live in Colorado.
I am originally from Marion County where Tim Davis coached Epps to the State HS Basketball championship.
I have lived in Campellsville for the past 30 years because I married an insurance guy almost 14 years older than me and my Dad at the time, who knew my husband at the time, called FOUL!
But everything worked out between all concerned. My Dad and my Hubby were best friends for many years.
Weird
Did you post a picture of yourself? You were leaning against a sign of some type, and I thought it was taken at a mountain locale in Colorado. I don’t know, my memory isn’t what it used to be.
Davis was, and is an excellent coach. Epps, Michael Douglas, Marlis Scott … he had some really great HS players at Marion Co. I think he coached Petey Spalding at C-ville, he was a good HS player.
He deserves a lot of credit for the beat-down of the Indiana boys also (although they should have won both games).
My wife married a guy 13 years older than her … go figure?

LOL...
that pic of me was taken when I went and toured Yellowstone back in 2001. I was acting like a mean KY wildcat under that sign,
Well I was married for almost 5 years to a swhit ass, but I do have my kids from that first marriage which I am thankful…but my true love was my 2nd, and we had 6 kids between us,
It was an adventure with all those steps, believe me, but we made it. We married in June 1977 and he died in October 2003. A most memorable life with my hubby!
Now I remember!
My wife and I have been married for almost 5 years ( I married late). She just turned 30 so now she thinks she’s old, LOL … it’s really sad :)

Oh my!
Old at 30? I was almost 6 months shy of being 27 when I married the 2nd time and my hubby turned 40 the next day. But I coming from a big family of 7 kids and being the oldest had no problem with my stepchildren. His oldest was 18 and I was 26 1/2, so I could relate. They were still kids to me even though they thought otherwise.
I am 57, and I spent 20
years of my life rearing children, because even when you think they are gone and out of the household…they return, but I cherish every moment.
