Thank Goodness! CBS Sportline's Clay Travis Weighs in on Billy Recruiting Young

Now I can finally sleep soundly at night, knowing that humorist Clay Travis has written the definitive missive about Billy recruiting young, a month or so after the initial hubbub.

Oh ho ho! I have applied sarcasm to my current writing!

(Seriously, don't get your panties in a wad; Travis takes a nice overwritten shit on us, but its not worth getting pissed off about, or worth adding him to the "List of UK Enemies" list.)

I am VERY upset

I want my 2 min back. That was not funny. Seriously, it really was not funny. I love poking fun at myself and Kentucky in general and have even done stand-up and this guy is NOT funny.

Come on That is some funny stuff right there. It is a tongue in cheek bs thing, but over all, nothing to get excited about. Heck, personally I love it. It means people are starting to take notice that UK is back BABY! with a capital B! Sorry if it was Vitale, then I guess it would of ticked me off, but this is just some guy I never heard of, so I have no problem with it. UK is now back in the national spotlight where we belong and that is all that matters. If you think this is something, wait till the season starts and we are dominating our opponents, then the real fun begins :)

I thought it was funny. And I can be pretty touchy about Kentucky or Kentuckians being the butt of any joke.

Not Upset

I was not upset by the article at all, but I still did not think it was funny. I just thought it was a HUGE waste of time and not at all original – I have been hearing the recruiting infant joke for a while now. Overall, I just thought it was lame.

Pretty good

I thought everything but the research/female/saudi arabia comment was pretty funny.

My favorite part was G wiring his voice into the baby monitor. That’s some dang good recruiting.

This guy is obviously a douche but it was entertaining.

Dumb

I thought it was dumb and i only read half of it! Kinda like a bad movie or anything else that isnt worth investing time in. The only thing i could think of was how rough that kid is gonna have it in life, with a name like fox (c’mon is that the best “they” by that i mean he and his wife) could come up with? and having a jerk dad, someone call CPS before its to late.
