Wesley Johnson Likely to Kentucky

PrintEnjoy Iowa State's best basketball player. He was probably the best freshman in the Big 12 not named Kevin Durant a couple years ago, and he played all of last year with a broken foot. He's got an NBA skill set, and he'll be a lot of fun to watch. He's been rumored to be looking at Kentucky for a while now, and there was a message board post that says UK is his destination.

A message board post doesn't make a transfer
Wesley makes our scholarship situation very, very tight, especially if Matt Pilgrim transfers in. This is the first time I’ve heard about Wesley wanting UK, and I haven’t heard the UK staff mention anything about him. Very interesting.

That and the fact
that he’s been rumored to transfer from ISU to Kentucky for about 3 weeks, and there’s multiple sources saying UK.
Don't Worry About Scholarships
Even if both Pilgrim and Johnson transfer in, UK will find enough scholarships for 2009 recruits.
