Kansas' Darrell Arthur has problems with variables

6

Your 2007-08 NCAA Basketball Champions may have a slight problem. Forward Darrell Arthur benefited from "unmerited grade changes that kept him eligible at South Oak Cliff High", according to several news outlets. I'm not for sure how Kansas could get in trouble here. If the High School lied to Kansas and the NCAA about Arthur's grades, why would Kansas be found at fault? But if Kansas knew... I think Memphis fans would go ballistic. And so will the rest of us. Edit: chirop1 put up a FanShot about this an hour ago. But I can't promote his to the front page, unfortunately. Instead, I give him props for beating me to the punch. Edit 2: You know, this is getting a little long, but I wanted to post what I read at ESPN: The NCAA told ESPN.com's Andy Katz that for Arthur to be ineligible, there would have to be evidence that Arthur or Kansas knew or should have known about the changed grade.
