Greet the CATS?

As hard as our CATS battled and worked this year and as much emotion that Joe and Ramel showed (Joe in particular) at the conclusion of yesterday's game....does anyone plan on going to the Airport today to greet them (or to Wildcat Lodge)? Just curious. I think it would be great to have a good number of people to show this team that the Fans are proud of what they did over the entire year even with a 1st round loss!

Would if I could...
without hesitation.  Being 4-5 hours away makes it impossible to pick up and head south at a moments notice though.  For those in and around Lexington, please go and cheer your hearts out for those young men and coaches.  They gave everything of themselves this year and they deserve a heroes welcome when getting off that plane

I will be there
cheering my heart out, you can believe that!  My son is one and I am taking him with me as well.  It is NEVER to young to learn what it means to "bleed blue."

A team like this...
makes me want to start a new tradition. Let's call it "Senior Send-off". Make it a pep-rally, or a season ending Big Blue Madness, or such. That way our seniors have a better "final memory" that will take them throught the rest of their life than losing the last game as a Wildcat. All in Favor?

Let us know...
For those that are closer and are able to make it, let us know how the turn out is.

Not Good
The Cats ended up getting back early - like around 5:30-ish.  I never even saw them.  I took off a half hour early from work rushed and picked up my son and headed to the airport.  There were only about 5 people there when I arrived (about 5-10 minutes till 6:00) and I was told that the Cats came off the plane and went directly to the bus.  No attention paid to the very SMALL amount of fans (15-20 people I was told).  I was SO disappointed.  I really wanted to be able to cheer for them when they came off the plane.  I wanted them to know how proud I was.

Same here
Got there and a security guard said they were already gone. He also was a tad grumpy and warned me that Homeland Security says "we" can't gather at the fence and that a passenger is not allowed to walk over to the gate anymore.

Sign-o-the-times!
