IU got off easy
Me and my wife were sitting here reading everything related to college basketball, and came across this article. Now I must admit I hate everthing IU. (except for coach Knight) But this article does point out some interesting facts that some people might not know about the whole Sampson debacle. It just made us wonder why when its UK (Players or coaches) that make a mistake its front page news, but if its gambling(Florida), or recruiting (IU) then no one pays attention. I will list the link, and to be honest it got my blue blood boiling.

Guessing Here
IU has rarely, if ever before, committed NCAA violations.
UK has been caught 4 times in basketball and 3 times in football.
If IU keeps doing it over and over, they’ll be on the front page, too.

I think this article ...
… is absolutely psuedo-journalism, and not even a defensible opinion piece.
If I have the time, I will prove it beyond reasonable doubt.

they're not going to any post season anyways...
..at least not this year…
BTW: I never was for a post season band for any school… Why do they punish the players when the coaches “cheat and leave”..
I’ve always thought they should strip the schools of scholarships, fine the coaches and band THE COACHES from coaching for 5 years…
And in this case, Indiana KNEW the track record of Sampson and still hired them, so they should have to pay a higher price, but NOT a band on post season…
just my opinion, but why should we make the players that stay pay the price…
Steelers fan 1st! UK is my 2nd love.
