Regarding 93.9 The Ticket

I for one am upset that Cumulus pulled the radio show.  I did not listen that often but anytime Matt, Jody and Trevor were going to talk about potential  recruits coming into Louisville, UK or IU, I found it an interesting radio sports talk show.

Living in the area I do, I could not pick it up via regular radio so I did the streaming on the internet.  This is the only sports radio talk show that was available to me and now it is no more.  I am sad though I can understand the BIG guys cutting expenses in this day with the economy going belly up.

I hope that all the guys that contributed so much to the sports programs during their short lived broadcasts will find another venue.  The state of Ky and Indiana needs it.

No ...

… this is fine. I do need to create another discussion thread for that, but this is worthy of a fanpost, no question.

This disppointed me...

I enjoy local sports radio and thought “The Ticket” put on a pretty strong product. Hard to believe that sports radio can’t exist in such a sports crazy town as Louisville.

Two months (!). Two weeks. Two pencils.

Agreed

Heck, we even have a weekly local sports radio show here in E’town.

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

The Tom Jurich

bashing over at KSR is hilarious, especially the transcript from Jurich running the new “oldies” show that will replace Sports Night.
