Blue/White Game Open Thread
This is an open thread for the Blue/White game (should Notre Dame vs. Pitt ever end).
Post any thoughts you have about the Blue/White game in here. Don't forget to post your thoughts about UK's close victory over Mississippi State to get bowl eligible for the third straight year for only the second time in this half-century in the thread just below.

Meeks
His injuries last year may have cost UK 5 or even 10 W.
He could be All-SEC this year and PERHAPS All-American next season.

I hate Dish Network!
I live in Ashland, Ky, and unless you have cable, there is no way to get MyZ Tv to watch the Blue/White game. I’m an avid bleed blue fan and have been since birth (35 yrs ago), and this kills me. I’m not paying the $9.95 podcast fee, because I’ve been screwed by that before. Can someone post updates of the game! Thanks and Go big blue! Bowl bound baby!

Hey gobigbluecatsfan72
I just wanted you to know that I live just south of Ashland and I have a digital TV & an outside antenna and I get WSAZ’s MyZ real good. Thay have just about all the UK programming when it’s not on anywhere else. I didn’t get the FB game today but most of the time I do.

Unless we get some offense
going in the next couple of games we won’t be seeing any bowls. We must beat at least one more team to be sure of a bowl game (vandy? TN?) otherwise our hopes lie on our avid fanbase to get us into a bowl near home. Glad to see the Cats get this one though. It was CRUCIAL!! Hopefully TN won’t develop an offense before the end of the season!!!! They stink!

If Alfonso Smith is okay,
and we can get Cobb more plays in the future, our offense should pickup. Also, with Myron Pryor coming back, I feel comfortable that we can beat Vanderbilt and Tennessee. Hopfefully we catch Georgia feeling sorry for themselves next week, and add more salt to their wounds. Man Florida really is hot right now, probably the best team in the country (Except to the idiots who get to vote, esp. Corso). We need Tennessee to beat S.C. tonight, and then run the table. I want to go to a “warm city” bowl this year!

Game wasn't shown in Murray. Do we have the box score yet?

So much for UT beating SC tonight,
it’s 21-0 in the 3rd quarter, Gamecocks. Blueobsessed, the football box score has been complete for a couple of hours, in regards to B/W game, not sure.

A lot of upsets
today in the latter half of the top 25. We should receive some votes this week, then after upsetting the dawgs next week, could finally crack it.

It's the only way to be Ken,
because things WILL get better, as we get healthier. Once our offensive line assists us with the running game, we’ll be fine. I honestly believe we have 3 winnable games left on the schedule. Could you imagine, 9 – 3? Wow! How about “Riverboat Rich” gambling on 4th down w/a fake punt! SWEET!

Needed names on the back of the practice jerseys
With all the new faces, I had a hard time keeping up with who was who!
Funny how we just assume certain things too. I missed BBM and I hadn’t really watched any tape of practices or looked at pictures of most of the newcomers. I was stunned that Harrelson was white and Pilgrim was black! Somehow in my mind I had them just the opposite! Ha!
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

Here's an interesting article concerning
UK’s exhibition game with the Tritons of Missouri-St Louis.
http://www.umsltritons.com/mens-sports/overview/2/429
The information is thorough and mentions a few Kentucky teams that play in the east division of the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

What the hell...
I was bored so I found this link to the OBU Tigers men’s basketball website. Check the link to the OBU vs Kentucky Alumni info to see a pic of our team.

Pretty stoked for the season to begin. I expect these two exhibition games to be decent tests of early preperation.
On a side note: In this day and age of internuts I am especially thankful for the technology at hand. Otherwise these exhibition games would be footnotes to the footnotes in our local paper and I wouldn’t have access to the radio broadcasts of the games. It gives our fanbase a chance to be at home with our Wildcats should they not be featured on national tv and one finds oneself geographically challenged in relation to UK media outlets.
