Awesome news for Rajon. Love to see UK players getting this kind of publicity.

Great for the school and Rondo. Congratulations to him.

I also left him out of my earlier comment about UK ring-bearers: Blanton, Prince, J-Lo, and Rondo. There are more, but that's the ones that jump into my head.

All Defensive 1st team

Is an admirable and achievable goal for Rajon I think.

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

I agree with chirop

Look at his line from last nights game:

M FG FT TR A PF PTS
30 4-8 6-11 3 6 1 14

He’s getting to the line like he said he wanted to and the post game wire report mentions the defensive intensity the Celts are bringing:

“This one was much easier as Boston’s active defense from the start held Chicago to 4-of-23 shooting in the first quarter.”

I believe Rondo is going to go on a defensive rampage this season. We all know what he can do defensively so it should come as no surprise if he gets accolades post season for his defense.

point guard of the future

rondo is such a beast, he still rebounds like he did at uk. he is definitely the next great point guard.

Stuckey

Rondo will be great. Another young point guard who will be great is Rodney Stuckey of the Pistons. He will be an all star in the next couple of years.

I love seeing UK players succeeding in the pros, too. I love Rondo’s skills, and I think he’ll win another ring eventually and probably become one of the best “non-scoring” defensive PGs of this generation.
Also, re; Rondo…I’ll never forget going to a party during my soph. year at UK and seeing him showing his handgun to a bunch of dumb sorority girls.
