Around SBN: Raiders' GM Begins The Purge

UK Basketball Game Two: Seattle

The Joe Callero led Seattle Redhawks will come into Rupp Arena with there backs hitting the wall.  This is another small team with there tallest player "6'9" Travis Welt graduating last year.  So how will this team stack up against the our Wildcats?

Star-divide

Guards: This should be no contest, the Redhawk guard are way to small and not very athletic compared to the UK guards.  Jodie Meeks should have a field day, a 30 point plus game since he is so much faster and stronger than these guards on the Redhawks.  Taylor Olson is a player for the Redhawks to watch as he is very fast and get into the hole fairly easily versus his competition last season. I don't expect that to happen since strength is such an issue for this kid and this team.

Big Guys: This a complete mismatch, I look for Perry Stevenson to have a big game here much like he did last year in the preseason games.  He has a huge reach advantage over these players and I look for him to block a ton of shots in this game [look for 6 or 7 at least].  I look for Leigh Swanson to be a factor for the Redhawks since he is the tallest player coming back for Seattle.

This should be a bigger mismatch than the first game I covered for you. I like Jodie Meeks and Perry Stevenson to lead the Cats to a 98-52 win.

This will be a good one...
for me, since my wife is a Seattle U alum. We are also currently residing in Seattle Metro. I'm gonna love this one. I don't know how I'll get it yet, I might have to buy some extra channels on Comcast, but last year I managed to get almost every game, including the expo games. Maybe it will be on a local channel... HAH! yeah right. I didn't even know they had a MBB team last year, actually I didn't think they even had sports. (My wife didn't appreciate that last one much... ;) )
