It's Time for a Bat Cat Update

As we reported last week, the Kentucky Wildcats Baseball team had a huge series this weekend at #8 South Carolina.  How did they fare?  Well, not all that great.

They lost on Friday, but did manage to take the second game of the series on Derby day.  Unfortunately, they were routed in the rubber match on Sunday.

That puts the Wildcats' SEC record 3 games below .500  and next to last in the Eastern division.  The Bat Cats go out of conference on Wednesday to play Evansville, then back to conference play on Friday for a three game series with Ole' Miss in Oxford.  Ole' Miss is currently standing 3rd in the West, so UK has a chance to get above to .500 if they sweep, and put them back in the SEC tournament hunt.
