Matt Jones is reporting a starting lineup with no Joe Crawford and no Pat Patterson. Instead, we'll see "Razor" Ramon Harris and... Mark Coury?!?! I've been reading the same reports as you guys about these two, but I still wasn't expecting this. Do you think Coach G is feeling out these guys in a game that means nothing, or do you expect this to be a "permanent" thing? Is he trying to keep Patterson out of early foul trouble by starting Coury until Pat gets acclimated to college officiating?
If we open the regular season with this lineup, I think Tru's analysis on Crawford is spot on. (Actually, I already did, but this is just more evidence.) Is this more likely to make him "man up" and earn his spot back or cause him to sulk more and disrupt the team's chemistry?
Too many questions, and hopefully the beginning of some answers tonight as I watch the game far from home in a hotel room in Somerset. I know it's Pikeville College and I know it's the preseason, but who cares? It's Wildcat basketball, and that's enough for me!
